Guest Lecture: Ben Evans, LLM - Postgraduate Researcher (University of East Anglia / Centre for Competition Policy)
We are happy to welcome Ben Evans at the DPE! On Thursday, 23rd January, he will be giving a talk on “Cloud Portability and Interoperability under the EU Data Act: Dynamism versus Equivalence”.
Ben Evans is a Postgraduate Researcher in the School of Law and a member of the Centre for Competition Policy. He holds an LLM in IT and IP Law (Distinction).
Ben’s research is focused on the problem of data advantage and explores the interplay between competition law and information technology and intellectual property law. He is particularly interested in EU and UK competition law, the regulation of digital markets, digital intellectual property law, and the development of laws relating to data, cloud computing and artificial intelligence (AI).
